1. If my dad takes cash, will it be availible right away? If not, how will be buy stuff from the commisary the first day? If he doesn't buy stuff the first day, how will he brush his teeth, take a shower, etc the second day or until he can buy stuff? Which is the fastest? Cash or check or money order? They will issue him items to get him through. Take cash. Yes it will be available. No checks! Money Orders take the longest.

2. I read somewhere on the website that for me to transfer money to western union he has to be in BOP custody or they will return the money. Is that true? I think you will be able to transfer money through WU now. If not wait till that morning as it only takes a couple of hours to post to their accounts when you use them. Make sure you get a gold card. Everytime you refrence it they will put phone minutes on it which he can use once he is released to HWH. HWH rates where mike is $1 for 10 minutes.
3. He is not very computer savy, is there a way i can show him how to use the TRULINCS system? I tried googling it to see if there would be a picture or something that I can explain to him but nothing. Can one of you guys describe it? Maybe once I know what unit he will be in, maybe someone can ask their husband/dad/brother to help him out with it? One of the guys will help him. From what mike says it is nothing more than a word processing program.

4. Books, there is only 3 at a time, is that correct? So he has to get rid of the ones we before? You can only send 3 at a time in. They have to come from a publisher, unless they are paperbacks. It was easier to send all books from amazon for me and not have to worry about them sending it back. As far as how many he can in there I have no idea. I know mike gave most of his books to guys that didn't get any or to the library.
